Upon the appointment of Hon. Alhaji Abdulkareem Allana Keana as a Legislative Aide to the Speaker of House of Representatives,Rt.Hon. Dr Tajudeen Abass, the former Senior Special Adviser to the Governor of Nasarawa State, who is fondly called Alhaji Oscar has disclosed his resolve to work with the Honourable Speaker for the emancipation of the masses from the woods.
Whilst speaking in a media chat in Abuja, Alhaji. Abdulkareem Allana Keana commended Nigerian masses for their resilience in the face of the economic hardship witnessed as a result of the removal of the fuel subsidy regime witnessed at the advent President Bola Tinubu.
Interestingly, Alhaji Oscar stressed that the removal of the fuel subsidy regime is best if the funds used for sustaining fuel subsidy are rechanneled into other developmental projects for the general good of the masses.

“The cabal that benefited from the subsidy regime was a fraction of the the Nigerian population. The removal of the subsidy and the use of the funds for subsidy to revive the moribund refineries in Nigeria will be useful to turn around Nigeria’s economy.
The Nassarawa born politician also called on President Bola Tinubu to scrap the Petroleum Board in Nigeria, stressing that it was not working to improve the Petroleum industry in Nigeria.
On scoring the Tinubu Presidency in the management of the fuel subsidy removal, Hon. Abdulkareem Allana Keana commended the Federal Government for the the provision of palliatives to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal on the citizenry.
Alhaji Oscar Allana Keana also commended President Bola Tinubu for the good will and subsidy on education with signing into law the students loan and access to higher education act as a program to facilitate access to education for the Nigerian students.
However, Alhaji Oscar Allana Keana lamented that the state Governors sabotaged the palliatives distribution, save for Borno, Kano and Lagos states did well with the palliatives distribution.
Also, the Nasarawa born APC youth leader urged the youths of Nigeria to stand up impunity against impunity by state Governors.
Alhaji Oscar described as unfair how autonomy was not giving to the Local Government to handle the palliatives distribution.

Moreso, he described the error bombing by the military in Northern Nigeria as unfortunate.
He urged the establishment to set up an independent committee to investigate the error bombing to forestall the reoccurrence in the future.
“It’s with deep regret and sorrow that our hearts go out to the victims of the error bombing and their loved ones who are left with the trauma.
“However, I am disappointed that the Northern Governors have not done well by donating only 16 million, instead of 10billion naira to fixing the victims and community of the error bombing.
Consequently Hon. Alhaji Abdulkareem Allana Keana reiterated that the commencement of the operations of Port Harcourt Refinery and others will give a new lease of life to Nigeria’s economy in 2024, a milestone, Alhaji Oscar emphasizes will remain a huge achievement for the APC led Federal Government with the support of the House of Representatives of 10th National Assembly under the leadership of Rt.Hon. Dr. Tajudeen Abass as Speaker of the House of Representatives.
