A mother, Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo, who sought public assistance on Saturday over her missing son, Oladipupo Siwajuola attending Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, has announced that her boy has been found.

Omotayo disclosed this in a Facebook post on Saturday.

She said, “My son has been found.”

The Director of Marketing and Communications for the university, Dr Joshua Suleiman, also confirmed to our Correspondent on Sunday that the school has received the cheering news.

Asked to confirm the Facebook post announcing that Siwajuola had been found, Dr Suleiman in a terse WhatsApp message said, “Yes, we are aware”

However, details regarding how and where the student was found remain sketchy as of the time of filling this report.

Omotayo, crying profusely during a live Facebook video on Saturday, had called on members of the public as well as the security agencies to help locate her son.

She stated that she dropped off her son at the school on the evening of Sunday, April 27, 2025.

She said, “The members of the public should please help tell Babcock University to produce my son.

I dropped him off at the school by myself on Sunday evening, but for the past three day, I have not been able to sleep as I cannot find my son.”
