Do2dtun, who Hosted the Tribute Concert at Muri Okunola Park in honor of Mohbad, expressed his Confusion regarding why Sympathizers moved to the #EndSARS site.
He clarified that the Event was a Candlelight Procession, not a Protest.
He stated, “In all honesty, Nigerians do not listen, and we tend to Overreact.
This Procession concluded at Muri Okunola Park over three hours ago.
We finished, and everyone left. Some Individuals still gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate.
It is not a Protest; it is a CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION.”
In a separate post, the OAP blamed the Police for Allegedly using Tear Gas on the Sympathizers but also suggested that the Sympathizers should have exercised common sense, as the Procession could have been hijacked and turned into something else.
“While it is not right for the Police to do that, people often hijack these events and turn them into something else.
Muri Okunola Park was approved, and it was intended to be a peaceful Candlelight Procession.
It’s just a matter of common sense. Are the people who went home foolish? Let’s apply some reasoning here. We are in Lagos,” he emphasized.
