Israel Afeare, Popularly known as Israel DMW, who Serves as Davido’s Logistics Manager, has Issued an Apology to the Muslim Community regarding a Controversial Video uploaded by Davido.
The Video in question featured Davido’s Signee, Logos Olori, and was titled “Jaye Lo.” It depicted people Praying in an Islamic Manner and Dancing inside a Mosque.
This caused a Backlash against Davido, Prompting him to Delete the Video from his Social Media Pages.
Despite the deletion, the Muslim Community demanded a Public Apology from Davido.
In response to the Situation, Israel DMW took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday to Apologize on behalf of Davido.
He explained that the Video was meant purely for Entertainment purposes but was Presented in a manner that caused Offense.
In his statement, Israel Expressed a heartfelt Apology to his Muslim Brothers and Sisters, acknowledging that the Video was uploaded to Promote someone, as it was one of Davido’s Interests.
However, he Clarified that the way it was presented was Incorrect, and he urged the Muslim Community not to be upset, Emphasizing his Love and Respect for all of them.
