David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, a prominent Afrobeats Star, has expressed deep Appreciation for being bestowed with a National Honor by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs recently announced the names of 339 Distinguished Nigerians, Including Davido, as recipients of the 2023 National Honors.
Davido took to his verified Twitter account to react to this Prestigious recognition.
He conveyed his Gratitude for being chosen to receive the National Honor.
In his tweet, he wrote, “I am truly honored to hear the News that I have been conferred with an OON (Officer of the Order of Nigeria) by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
I want to express my Heartfelt Appreciation for this recognition and the accompanying honor.”
Furthermore, Davido expressed his longstanding Commitment to utilizing his platform to Showcase the Beauty and Diversity of his Country.
He highlighted his Mission to exhibit the passion, resilience, joy, Culture, and Struggles of the Nigerian people.
Davido emphasized that he never takes any of these opportunities for granted.
