The Nigerian Police has demoted a Police Officer, Adejoh Siaka from the rank of an Inspector to a Sergeant following complaints and findings on a viral video widely circulated on social media where he assaulted a motorist at Elibrada junction, Emouha, Rivers State.
Kukuruku News gathered that the police authority also reprimanded Sergeant Ndiwa Kpuebari who was also present at the scene but took no steps to discourage the deranked officer’s inappropriate action.
Similarly, another Inspector Friday Obaka, who was later discovered to have been absent from the scene of the assault was discharged unconditionally at the conclusion of the proceedings.
According to the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the three Policemen will be posted out of Rivers State to other Commands and Formations to continue their police duties.
