After days of tension, supplementary election and drama from INEC top officials, the Adamawa State INEC Returning Officer, the man duly appointed to present the collated results announced the outcome of the election close to a month after the whole process started.
According to him, Fintiri scored 430,869
while his closest challenger, Binani had 398,788 votes
